I bit unusual to see the jet stream this far south before the Fall Equinox (on Wednesday)

Typical post frontal progression.  The day after the big blow.  High pressure moving onshore.  Less wind.  Building temperatures at all altitudes, but still a relatively cool air mass down lower and strong lapse rate from the surface to 6K.

There was talk of wind in the forecast, but it turned out to be a light wind day.  Debbie was OTB about 15ish at dawn.  She climbed a little and then backed off to zero.  Very little wind on course, but a bumpy ride with punchy and sometimes strong thermals.   Didn't find a smooth patch all day, even on glide.  Drift mostly away from the back ridge at altitude up into the Casitas Pass, but drawing up down lower.  Drift from the SW in Ojai.  Lighter wind than typical up the Santa Clara River.

Early on, max altitude was in the low 4s.  6K at White Ledge, and 65 at Santa Paula Peak.  Cloudbase up behind Santa Paula peak was probably 8+, but you needed to go back and get it.

Expecting Santa Anna tomorrow (Tuesday), through Thursday.  Sundowner winds are blowing down through Ramero Saddle tonight.
