Robb, you did great. You were one thermal away from going long. The real hero
was Diablo running chase. Thanks again for the advice, encouragement and putting
in a long day.
We all somewhat struggled getting up at launch. It was probably an hour before
we all went otb. I stayed on the south side of the development through the
entire flight. Brendan and I pretty much flew together from Frasier mtn on.
The cloud street from Frasier to the city of Mojave was unbelievable, kinda like
swinging on the monkey bars. 10 miles past Mojave, we encountered a storm cell
about 10 miles to the NW . Avoiding that, I swung wide east to a group of small
cumi’s but never found the love. I landed about 14 miles past Mojave at the 84
mile mark, Brendan took the day with 91+.
Looking forward to Brendan's post.Pipkin_Tom

Robb,
Let's see the helmet cam video. I'll turn down the sound.

Your Go Pro camera really does a nice job. 10 years of flying Pine Mtn., those
were some of the most organized cloud streets that I've ever seen while flying
there.
Thanks for the video Ron. I'll stop whining now.
