Travis's Narrative

This was my flight yesterday and my "best" flight from EJ so far.  I opted to turn around just before "PowerLines" and attempt to make it back to Parma, as Johannes had indicated he barely made it out of there.  The west wind had increased and the once decent thermals had become shredded on my westbound leg back toward Parma.  I decided to to abort the west leg while I still had the altitude to make it to Padaro.  Could I have made it back to Parma?  Most likely if I was better at XC and willing to potentially bomb out in an landing that was not of my choosing.  I wanted a burger anyways....

I'm on a new (demo) wing, a large Swift 6.  Still getting used to and comfortable on the wing and flying conservatively when it comes to ground clearance.  But what an upgrade in performance from the ML Buzz Z6.
