Cautious about getting low, but had to grovel low at Ramero. Only went half way from the VOR to the Painted Cave Windmill because it seemed everyone down lower was struggling.
Ran into stiff NE wind leaving Puckers (lower SE point below the Topa Bluffs), so turned back and was able to reach the convergence over Koenigstein Rd and reboost.
Couldn't get over the saddle behind White Ledge late in the day due to shaded east faces and fading thermals at 4 PM.

Working better up higher in Santa Barbara and a struggle down low. Ojai worked ok down low but NE up high and SW down lower resulted in a turb sheer layer in Ojai. Smoother above and below the sheer.

Was great having Bernardo on course ahead for inspiration as I was groveling low at Ramero and the Castle Points
