piled in the fly above all people mover and got up to launch with many clouds
forming below us out front. doug e fresh launched first and climbed up easily
and headed over to the sun at RR where he got to a higher cloudbase, maybe 3500
or so. master bader and this cracka beat bushes below launch for a bit before
gittin a hundy over and heading to RR. never got much above 3300 but the whispys
were way cool and fun and headed to cathedral in a headwind. spent most of my
flight playing over there in the shade trying to get at least 2500 to try to go
one way or another. sung some whitney houston songs to the hikers on inspiration
point and finally got up to the white room and headed back to the knob under the
tit. climbed up the tit slowly but cloudbase was filling in quickly and
lowering. made one more play for RR but got rejected in all the lowering shade.
one more fatty at the holy hills and made sure the compass was pointing south as
i tasted the good stuff. popped out near parma above most all the white
marshmellows around and hit that whitney high note!!! uhhhhhhhhhhhhh, good clean
fun!! seems the cloudbase soon was solid about 2200 up and down the range and
almost all the way out to the coast flushing everyone.
