SD Notation from phone conference with Aaron

Sunday 9/25/2017 / Aaron Price Paragliding Flight / first completed the September Task for the Santa Barbara Ho Down, EJ Bowl to RnR to West Bowl to Parkers, then tanked up at the thermal factor and got on course eastbound. Good altitude over Casitas Pass and through Ojai (10K at the Topa Bluffs). 9K at Santa Paula 9K leaving Santa Paula Peak, but encountering headwind from the east on glide. The thermals were anchoring and drifting from the south, getting over 7K halfway between Fillmore and Piru, but stiff headwind outside the thermals, so turned downwind westbound and crossed the Sespe back to San Cayetano Peak, coming in low, but getting back in the game. By now the west flow was pushing up the river, so eastbound again, but lower. Skipped along past Fillmore and opted to land in Piru in stiff upriver flow from the west.
