Marshall day, June 6/2015

Marshall peak, San Bernardino, June 6, 2015
with: Dave B, Chuck M (Rialto, CA)
Launched: 4pm, Ended: 6pm
Weather: sunny, wind W, 5-7mph
Max Ele: 5100 ft (launch is 4k)
Top land once, Land at the 750 launch
Highlght: one lucky save from 3100 back to over launch, benching up

Super thermic (is this always the case at Marshall...) even though foggy and inverted till about 11...
Easy launch up top, beautiful LZ with lots of amenities, good vibes.
Fun flights, I stayed around the top, didn't have much desire to go explore, but I really got to see a different side of the Buzz, thermals were 'wider' than I'm used to, and there were a few opportunities to bring her down for top landings which gave me more of her flight characteristics with slow passes in thermic proximity to land. Felt comfortable with all the bumps we took today...not much wind to mess with my head either.

WTF with the van ride up? Cutting across the road like that... necessary evil? The LZ was immaculate and we all enjoyed a nice sit down disucssion of the flight afterward with the sunset.

Gotta do it again real soon...
