Eagle Van
Wow there is no better place to fly and no better group to do it with! I
can't thank Eagle enough for making these days possible and Tom for chasing us.
Van is back at the shop, tank full. My track is questionable, despite
efforts to respect altitude limits including some spiral dives and course
decisions, I misjudged my exit route from beneath a cloud, not leaving my climb
soon enough, and went over. I learned a valuable lesson and gave myself
more margin for the rest of the flight. While the climbs went high, the
day still felt challenging with more headwind and sink than yesterday.
Highlight was a super long sunset glide at the end. Incredible day.
I can create the visualization and share it privately but may refrain from
posting here. Just reach out personally. Woo! Great flying
with so many fun and talented friends!
