hazy daze sunday
2 stuffed school vans up to ej bowl. a decent amount of ENE persisted as we all sat around. sundowner got tired of sitting and launched into the east/northeast, he drifted out and backwards a bit before turning downwind and getting stuck low on westbowl pretty quick. timmayy! and i didnt like being right behind the RR with that much ene wind so we hiked up to la cumbre. easy launch into the east below the hang glider launch. too east to soar there and timmayyy! joined sundowner low at westbowl, and i crabbed out to cathedral. ending up scratching low for a few hours between cathedral and parkers. the north east wind eventually backed off a bit and everyone got off at skyport and the few that stayed at ej bowl. timmayy! ended up scratching inspiration for an hour and eventually landing at robins, and traux out in front near the water plant i think. most everyone else landed in parma area including trees and canyons. tons of tandems and lots of lift down low in super hazy inverted skies. fun interesting day!
